Alina Gastesi-de Armas earned her Masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. Additionally, she has a Masters degree in Secondary Education from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. Alina is bilingual in English and Spanish, has over 12 years experience in mental health field and for more than 7 years taught at the Middle School, High School and College levels.

As Clinical Director, she is committed to providing the highest quality counseling and mediation services. Her clinical expertise is in approaching issues directly through the use of several modalities including carefully assigned homework, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Imago Relationship Counseling, Reality/Responsibility Parenting and a multidisciplinary approach to anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.

As a Mediator, she is dedicated to assisting her clients in making decisions in a manner that maximizes the benefits and minimizes the amount of stress for everyone involved. She specializes in situations where the parties have a continuing relationship including but not limited to divorced parents, siblings, in-laws, coworkers, business partners, and business associates.
